War Of The WordsWas very tired for the pass few days. Was battling a war!! The battles of Introduction to Networking, The battles of Bronze Medallion and the battle of Business Fundamental. Luckily, i'm safe and sound from the battles.知己知彼,百戰不貽﹔不知彼而知己,一勝一負﹔不知彼不知己,每戰必貽“Know the enemy and know yourself; in a hundred battles you will never be in peril. When you are ignorant of the enemy, but know yourself, your chances of winning or losing are equal. If ignorant both of your enemy and yourself, you are certain in every battle to be in peril."by Sun Tzu in the game "Romance of The Three Kingdom"Introduction to NetworkingMust thank Ah Neh for teaching me IntroNet. Without his teaching I think I will not have the confidence of passing this paper. Study at chalet till late late. Around 5am than take a short nap till 7am. 1st time study in a chalet!! Cant believe that I can actually study in a chalet. Lucky got San, Duke, JG and Ah neh to accompany me study or else I think I will be down there playing mahjong. And also must thank fat pig and vier to teach me some question and also Jacintha to provid tips. I can PASSED!! Bronze MedallionAfter the IntroNet paper, was worrying about Bronze Medallion bescause it require both physical and mental strength. Physically is that theres timing to your swimming so you need to swim well and fast but I was afraid of it because I dont have enough time to train, although I pass all during the trial-test. Than theres the respiratory system and circulation system that you need to memorise, the injuries and how to cure, CPR etc. I also cannot stay up late to study beacause it will affect me physically. So try very hard to study in 5hrs time and at night, went to Chun Quan aka Botak house to revise on it. Test Day
Wake up at 7am. Everyone was sitting down, waiting for the tester to come. Suddenly, I remember that I forget to take my Lifesaving 3 certificate. Botak also forget to bring so he called his mum to bring down the cert and as we live very near, I also ask her to help me take. THANK YOU auntie. Without ur help, think the test is impossible. Went to the west gate of the school to get the cert and when I got back, I saw the tester. He was like looking for the way to the swimming pool. I ask him to follow me and help him open the swimming pool complex door. Everyone was very anxious and excited. We were asked to sit outside the room-like oral exam and one by one, we have to go in to perform CPR techniques. Wa. When we heard 1 by 1, we were all like shock cause we thought is 2 by 2. I was the last 3 to go in. And when its my turn, I took a deep breath and step into the room. Those who has finish sitted at one side to quarantine them. The tester ask me to do CPR on a manikins. At first was quite stress but everything went smoothly. Than, when I do the chest compression on the manikin, the tester suddenly say "why so hard" and my friends in the room start to laugh... Cause I pressed too hard on the manikin till it look like the chest is going to burst. But thanks to their laughter, the atmosphere in the room became more relax. And after finish doing the CPR, I was awaiting for another scenerio but the tester ask me to sit down. Was shock because I only kena 1 scenerio while the rest got do other like choking and baby CPR. Maybe because I just now help him open the door...Than next, it was the physical part, and also the worst part. Speed~Have to take out clothing, swim 50m and do a clothing tow in 3mins and 15sec. Endurance~ Have to swim 50m, do a contact un co-operative victim towSpeed~ Swim 15m, do a surface dive, rescue an unconcious victim, tow back and perform water resuscitation in 1min 15sec.Yea! I passed the 1st one in 2min49secs and the second one in 1mins. Swimming during a test will make you chiong fast. Than, it was back to the intiative test. This was the easiest initiative test that I ever had. I just have to be a backup rescuerer who just have to call 995 and provide emergency after care. Must thank Eddie. He is the team leader who lead the team very well and also the one who give me such an easy job. Finally, it was the theory test. And again, it is in the Oral Examination format. And this time, I was lucky again. I got a question that is from my previous lifesaving 1,2,3 syllabus. Woo hoo~ The tester really love me for opening the door for him. I PASSED!!I LOVE LIFESAVING!!Business FundamentalJust took this paper. After the exam, the image of failing this subject plays in my mind. Was down there regretting why in the 1st place I never study hard etc.. Then, a beautiful line pop out from my head: "always be content with what you have, there are other people who are worse than you". I totally agree with it. I only have 1 paper to worry about but Ao have 4 SupPaper to worry. And to console myself, i tell myself that if I fail, I can aalways accompany Ao in the 4th year.
