NUH 2nd Check Up

NUH 2nd Check Up

Mum drove me to NUH for 2nd checkup today. Same old situation, Mom dunno how to speak English so always need to translate what the Indian Doctor is saying. Lucky got 3 students who I think is there to observe, help me translate. They can translate better than me sia. Than doctor twist and turn my elbow to check the stability of my elbow. Very scared eh. Later he accidentally make my hand come out again how? Maybe because this is just the 2nd check up. Thats why still have no confidence in him... After that, the Doctor say my right hand is quite "loose" compared to my left hand. Thus the doctor recommend me to go for an operation to repair the ligament on my right elbow. My mum and I agreed and the date is set at 27th December. Sianz. Need to be hospitalised for 1 day. Must beef myself up ler before this operation. Or else after operation cannot exercise for 1mths than die ler. Will turn fat eh.

Meet up with CH, WD, Pig, CR and Andy. Happy Birthday to Andy!! CR recommend this place called Aston at Katong. But when we reach there, it is very crowded. Think the place not bad eh. Next time if have the chance must go there try. So we tried very hard to think of what to eat and finally, decided on Katong Laksa. After that, we also tried very hard to think of where to go and finally decided to go Bugis. Dunno why today driving sucks. Didnt check blind spot and almost bang into a car. Only can say sorry. Than almost turn into an oncoming lane. Kena Pom Pom. What Ricky is thinking at that time man!! Than we went to Bugis arcade and played my favourite arcade game~ Basketball!! But not fun eh. The Ring is different from others that I played. Play 2 games than give up ler.

Congrats to Desmond for getting Driving License!!

More and more people seems to fall ill ler. Wish everyone a speedy recovery!!

Ubin Bonding

Ubin Bonding

Went to Ubin with ACians and our advisor Terance. Just a single word to describe this trip- WOW! Make me discovered a different Ubin.

We had wild fruits as our tidbits!! This is the 1st time I pluck a fruit from a tree and actually eat it!! Pluck Jumbo fruit and indian Cherry. Is Jumbo fruit spelt like this? Nvm. Can eat can ler. Than we also pluck some vegetable for our dinner like hibiscus, brinjau, lemon grass, some blue flower to make blue rice. The mountain bike trial there got a big grassland of kang kong. Everyone just look like indian tea plantation workers, plucking and plucking and plucking. Plucked alot!! Than while cycling, Terance saw this bambo shoot and *TING. He thought about dinner again. So we plucked it out using quite abit of stength. We also went to the beach beside the jetty to catch mussle for our dinner. They are difficult to catch man. But AC is strong!! So we manage to catch at least 15 mussle. But during dinner, I only ate 1... Cause while searching for the mussle, I saw dog shit inside the water!! So it makes me feel rejected... (is rejected the word?)

Woo~ Have sushi for lunch. Terance cooking skill was superb. we do some field cooking for dinner. Tom Yam soup, Miso Curry Soup, Kang kong, Veg pizza omelette, Deep fry flour etc. All the recipe is from Terance and he teach us how to cook. He inspired me to go learn cooking man!! Hope to cook like the way he cook.

At night, we have some bonding session at the basketball court. Its like a short time for us to focus and gather together to talk and bond. Hope that we have more of this session. It is true that we are a strong team. We walk together no matter wat happen. We didnt left the team when things are not right. 3 cheers for us. "We have left roughly 6months more. What will happen to us after that?" Someone asked me. So wat is our answer for that? =)

Next day, we have a recce for our night cycling event. Was trying my best to familiarize with the route. Heng ar, the rain starts to pour when we just finished. Went back to Singapore to have our lunch. At night, met them again for movie. Was actually going to watch this movie called Fred Claus, but we came late so change to The Kingdom. The movie was about an American school in Saudi Arabia kena shoot and bombed by terrorist and subsequently, a FBI agent was killed. So 4 FBI flew to Saudi to investigate and you know, FBI vs Terrorist bla bla bla. The show is nice but very fake. Always is the bad guy who die one. The good guy look like superman, can always avoid bullet and rockets. Best phrase of the show "Lets go catch big dog". "Why big dog and not fish?". "Cause dog is bigger than fish". @.@" So lame eh.

After the movie, wanted to have supper at the beancurd shop but no more ler. In the end, the east side kaki rush to take the last bus and went to bedok block 85. Have Or Lua and carrot cake as others shop has closed down. =(

A MeaningFul Day

Woo!! I did a meaningful thing today!! Brought children from AWWA to Jurong East swimming complex for some fun time. Was assigned to this child called Samuel who is 9 yrs old. Samuel need to walk with a walking stick because his leg is weak. Thus, have to hold on to him all the time if he is walking without a walking stick. But he is very naughty and is an active kid. Make me so tired!! Always splash water on me and always ask me to bring him to other places to play when we are not advise to. But seeing them enjoying and smiling, you just know that all is worth it. Samuel is also a very strong guy. Although after walking in the water playground for a long time, his leg was very tired and shaking, but he wants to continue to play. Playing is his motivation!!

Sianz ar!! Tomoro still have Camp. Need to wake up at 7am!! Die Die Die. Lack of sleep~ Pimples growing~ GOD SAVE ME AGAIN PLEASE!!

Planning A Holiday

Wee~
Have the sudden rush of going for a holiday!! A feeling of runaway. Wake up in the morning and went online to search for information about the air ticket and stuff in/to Hong Kong. So enthusiastic eh. One way ticket to Hong Kong is $88 excluding airport tax on JetStar budget airline on 10th March 2008. For hotel rates, I think is $300-$350 per person for a double room in a 4 star hotel for 6days 5nights. So think if go there must have at least $1200. Longing to go Ocean Park!! But if want to budget abit, maybe can go Shanghai. The expenses over there is cheap. If want even budgeter, can go Kuala Lumper cum Genting. I think it will be fun too.

Im planning an "own time own target" trip and this is the 1st time i'm planning a trip on my own. So my dear friends, if you are interested to go on a holiday with me this March, please tell me earlier so that I know how many people is going... Save money and get more ang pao during Chinese New Year and lets rock and roll the world!!

Woo Hoo~!! England out of Euro 2008!! Serve them right. Who ask their fellow people to come to Singapore to bully an old trishaw rider. Now they are being punished. Wahaha. *Evil*

Think they will be swimming over there and hope it will be a fun and happy day for them. Shot right into my heart

It just felt being shot right into my heart. A situation which I hated and regreted the most and that happened in the past, almost happen now... I hate to be in this kind of situation, where I felt being a rubbish chute, eating something which I don't like without even having a chance to say why... When I am appointed something that I disagree about, everyone just doesn't care and doesn't want to know about your stand and they just agreed among themselves and push it to you. What can you do at that moment? Since everyone agreed base on their own stand and you didn't even have a chance to voice out your own stand, you can only accept it quietly... But deep down, you just felt fustrated, you just felt negleted... It's not that I don't want, it's only because no one is trying to convince me to change my stand, thus I have to accept a choice which I doesn't like.

Does the way I behave really reflect my character? Was I having too much fun till people think I can't do anything good? Maybe i'm just trying too hard till I forget to slow down and look at the beautiful surroundings. Maybe i'm just trying too hard till I don't know what am I doing and negleted someone. Who knows the real me?

When i'm with them, thats the time I feel the most relaxed, and the most laughter

Campus held a CCN day which stand for Campus Care Network. It is a day where student set up their own stalls in school to sell their product. And the income that they earn will give to the school to help those financial difficulty students in TP. So I went to shop shop around with CH and YL. Let me calculate what I have bought:

Agar Agar Marshmallow-- 2 for $4

Subway cookies-- $1.50

Fruit Jelly-- $1

Gong Xi Fa Cai Piggy-- $4.90

Mashmallow with choco-- 2 for $1.50

Sasuages-- $1.50

Cookies-- $1.50

Tarts-- $3

Woo~ Spent almost $18. CH worst. He know alot of friends and they all always Dhei him to ask him buy. So no choice, he have to buy from them. And also when he see pretty girls, he ownself go and buy from them. So he brought alot. But the worst part is, after buying from them, he keep complaining that he buy alot. Told him already, he should buy from them and at the same time, ask for their number. like that more worthwhile. =)

After that, went for the i-guides camp. Have a feel of what being a participant is like. Have not been to a camp as a participant for so long. Think the last camp that I went is during my secondary 3 NCC specialist course.

Well. The camp was quite fun. Have a female FA who look like an ang mo lang but she is a pure chinese. A lot of people say she is pretty. Maybe that motivated our group to get 2nd for the camp. =) The game was good but easy to play cheat. Than we have 3 "campers lao jiao" who lead our team in cheers and give us a whole hell of laughter. But, hate the field cooking. We are suppose to have 4 packets of spaghetti to feed 20+ppl but we are only given 2 packets. =( But heng. We cook 2packet already so long and difficult. If we were given 4 packets, think we will die of cooking.

Didnt sleep so much in the camp. Went home, watch TV and slept for 14 hrs. Woot!!

Defination of a good FA: If your group likes you, you are considered a good FA. Agreed

I shouldn't sleep at SAA!! ='( NVM. At least u smile like this. =D

$Money$ vs Ship

Woke up at around 720am. Drag myself out from bed. Wasted 10mins searching for my swimming trunks but to no avail. Needed it for my lifesaving training later... I never thought that my reason of not going for lifesaving today is because I can't find my swimming trunk!! Damn it.

Quickly get prepared and went for school. As usual, i'm always late for 8am class. Hope teacher will be lenient. Forget to wear shoes to lab again. Kena nagged by him. So I tried to act blur to get out of the situation and it works.

Leaving for home at the bus stop when I saw Ao. So decided to go slack with him. Ler came and we went to have our dinner. Ate MeePok, Guo Tie and Rojak. Woot! The Guo Tie was nice!! Love foods!! Mee Pok was average and the Rojak sucks. But still have a wonderful meal!! After that, went to TM to slack and ate my new found love-Strawberry sundae! Yummy. Shit. Am I having my puberty now? I felt SO hungry now after eating so much just now leh. SHIT LA. Demanding stomach eh.

When we don't have money, we tend to work very hard so that we have money to spend. But when we have money, we tend to be very stingy to ourself of not spending the money because we are always afraid of not having enough money the next day. Thus, money is not something that can satisfy us and of course, its not the most important thing in our life. To satisfy ourselves, we tend to tried very hard to build an unsinkable ship and that is relationship- Friendship, Kinship. Everyone loves to be loved and also loves to love others. Having someone that can share your laughter and your tears, it would be the most satisfying things that money cannot buy. Spending time with your friends and family, its priceless.

The Grand essentials of happiness are: something to do, something to love, and something to hope for.

Went to Faezah hse today. Having some cooking gathering... Decided to cook mashed potato but dont have the recipe, so went online to check. Must cook something I dunno so that I can learn and add into my inventories of cooking. Like cooking very much cause you can exchange for the smile that is on other people faces when they eat the food(i mean delicious one).. =D
But didnt expect Faezah to cook mash potato too, so we have like 2 big pot of mash potato to finish. So when WQ come, we put the mash potato into two small glass bowl and ask him to try it and see whose mash potatos are nicer. However, he gave a ten year series answer, "this one a bit bland while this one too salty. If both of them mix together, I think it will be nicer." Zzz. But I think mine is nicer cause got hotdogs in it, I think he just doesn't want Faezah to be sad. =) But true, we mix the mashed potato together and it was better and WQ help finish it. So fat still eat so much. =X

Went home to slack awhile before going Ao hse. Ler was there too and they were watching soccer. Sadded. Ler lost money again!! Haiz. Never learn his lesson... Cant say anymore thing. Than after watching soccer, went to Geylang to have Tau Huay. Yes. Tau Huay again and is the same shop but different branch. Nice but dont dare to use the plastic spoon eh... Like reuse one... Scary. The egg tart damn nice!! Must try. After that, they wanted to go walk walk around to see the life in Geylang. Geylang is really a very messy place...
People selling imported cigarette and when a police car saw it, the people take the cigarette and run away but the police nvr gave chase... Eat snake sia. Than theres a group of people gambling like nobody care. Than theres a road where alot of prostitute. We kena molested. ='( One touched my chest while the other touch my hand. Can call police not?!? Whole body become itchy after that. Maybe i'm allergy to them. Shit them. Some of them quite beatiful lo. But dunno why they wan to betray their own body and do this kind of job. They may have some financial difficulty, but is it that they dont have hands and legs to find a decent jobs? Haiz. Feel so sad for them. ='( Maybe they have some other difficulties that we just dont understand...

AH MEI!!

Yesterday went to Bedok 85 to eat again. Yea. BAR CHOR MEE!! OR LUA!! STING RAY!! And very malu. Eat the kang kong than got 1 stuck on my teeth. Than talk to them for a while before QiJun tell me. Shit him. So late than tell me. Make me so Paiseh. =( Than drive Dion and ShiYi home 1st cause they below 18yrs old. Singapore law say that 18yrs old and below cannot come out in the middle of the night to scare ppl. So no choice guys. Must eat more, so that can grow big big and fast fast so nxt time police wont catch you all.

After that, went to Cineleisure to watch a damn nice show called Lions for Lambs!! Very Emotional and also, the Soundtrack is super nice!! The greatest part is, you feel emotional not during the show, but after the show... Highly Recommanded movie!! =(

Yea!! Today went to see Zhang Hui Mei Concert World Tour. Thanks to Yong Liang, we have cheap tickets to watch the concert!! Kan Xia Ning! Woo~ The show was High!! Fast song, slow song, everything was SHIOK!! Love the song 'Ji De' very much!!

MeiMei. So sad that you cannot watch. At least I did my part to let you hear her live singing! Lol. Dont feel disheartened. Will buy DVD for you to watch. =P

After that, went to a Honk Kong Cafe to eat. A treat from Yong Liang Sister. Thanks XiaoJie. Ordered a Centure Egg Porridge. Nice Nice Nice. BUT, it is damn expensive!! Total bill came to $$100.20!! All our food is like normal food from kopi tiam one leh. Like wonton noodle etc.. Some of them even order "Maggi Mee". So nxt time go there eat must think twice 1st.

Whao. Sch start at 8am. Only left 2hrs to sleep.. Nightz.

Last night went to Faezah house to have free dinner. lol. =x Well. Eat alot of chocolate and tidbits. Than have some curry chicken with "jiam tau lo ti"aka sharp head bread aka white bread. Woo~ Juz love the feelin of eating curry with white bread, miss eating chilli crab with white bread now!!
Was attracted to the cubic thing- there are around 27 cubes and you muz make them into 1 cube. So challenge Hui San to do it and guess wat, she took more than 21mins and cant finish it can! I better than her. I only use up 15mins and cant do it. Win her by a whooping 6mins!! NVM. You know, boys and girl have different kind of brains... =x So other people(around 10) tried and they cant figure it out too. So I tried it for the last time, and finally I can do it!! Thanks to the help of Faezah brother who teach me how to turn here turn there... And i'm not cheating here. Teacher once told us that if we cant do a question, try to ask help from her, so I was just following wat my primary school teacher teach me. So dont say I cheated. Is your primary school teacher nvr teach you. =X After that, we headed down to Siglap to chill.

Went to a pub(forget the name) and the place was nice. There's an elevated platform where it can sit 10ppl and it has soft chair which make it very cosy. There's also games like cards and dices for us to play. However, they put "Strictly No Gambling" sign on the wall... They provide us with games that is use for gambling but ask us not to gamble... Funny eh. So we use it to play some popular games from "Petty God Of Wealth" aka "Xiao Qi Da Cai Shen". So each of us ordered some alcoholic drinks and for me, although I dont like to drink beer, I still ordered a beer called Hoegarden cause I never drink before. It taste not as bad as other beer but I wont ordered it again. Cause I just don't like to drink beer. Ah Nei ordered a glass of Guiness. Same as his skin colour eh. Because it looks black, I thought it would be bitter, but after trying it, it is not as bad as wat I think. Better than Hoegarden. We also ordered some fries and calamarie. Very nice. Wats more, all this came to only $15dollar for each person. Cheap eh.

Today, meet Faezah at around 3pm at Tamp inter to accompany her to buy shoes and shop around. After that, went home to change and meet Des and Chuan Hui to Plaza Singh. Saw a guy in the train who was sleeping and his head was always swinging left and right. And it makes a girl on his right to lean forward as the guy was ALMOST leaning against her. Cool eh. New tactics to Pao girl. Was entertained by him in the train laughing all the way to Dorby Ghaut. Went to The Cathay and meet up with the rest to catch a movie. Thought we were watching StarDust but they change it to Game Plan. Well. The movie was nice especially the BALLET TEACHER!! Look like Jennifer Aniston man!! Dont mind watch a second time just because of her!! =b- After watching, we went to this beancurd place to have our supper. Woo~ Its look like we are back to the 60s as we were eating at a small alley and the surrounding jus look old and dirty. Nice. And the beancurd and you tiao was even nicer!! Next time drive you all go try!! Than it started to rain heavily.

Waited under an umbrella for a cab with MeiMei for 30mins before it came. All taxi uncle sleeping in the taxi cause it very shiok to sleep when its raining... So no more taxi. But quite fun playing with the water when its raining. Woo!! Think I gonna buy TOTO, 4D, BIG SWEEP, SOCCER everything this week. GOT HOW MUCH, BUY HOW MUCH. BUY BIG BIG, WIN BIG BIG, BUY MORE, WIN MORE!! Now have a higher chance to win cause I have just touch alot of water!! Chinese people has a saying--water is wealth. $.$

wOO~ I cant belive it!! They actually run below 35mins!! 1st time leh!! Hell yea SURPRISE!! Great job guys!! I want more surprises!!

Was running the reservoir with Jian Hui during the jogging segment. Yea. I didnt deprove even after I stopped training for 1mth. Timing: 21.30sec. But sad, still cant hit below 21.20sec which is my target. TRAIN TRAIN TRAIN!!
