Part time study!

Another conversation and incident makes me fell deep into my thought again.

~People will work hard for you if they feel you treasure them.

Yea. I applied for the Specialist Diploma in Accounting and Finance already. Hope that I can be accepted. Happy that I can study something which I am intersted in and I can be more financial literate. And I guess it was a pretty random decision.
I was in the office when my friend told me that he is going to study the course that is recommended by his the other friend. And when I heard the name of the course, I got interested but decided not to take it as I want to concentrate on my retaking of Os level subjects. But at night, when I went for a dinner with my mum, I asked her if I were to go study for that course what is her suggestion as I can't forget about the course. And she enocuraged me to go for it if I am really interested in it. I decided to rethink again so that I can ask around my friend for their suggestion. But when I reached home, I on my computer and went to research about the course again and the subjects really interest me. And while waiting for my friends suggestion, I straight away went and apply for it. A decision made just in 12hrs...

Since my mum encourage me to go for it,
Since I am intersted in the subjects,
Since I can at least learn something and upgrade myself while working for Serve And F***-off
Since I can improve on my financial literate which is something that I want

So why not?

Yea. And a reminder to myself: Put in my best in whatever things that I am going to achieved. I don't want to have any regret because of not putting in my best.

So I think after I applied for retaking of Os lvl subjects as a private candidate, I am going to manage my time well and put in my best in my studies. And getting a good results for both is my ultimate goal for Year2010.

I think I am used to the routine work already. Although everyday was the same, it gets more and more intersting when you get to know more and more people. It gets more and more easier when you learn more and more stuff.

It feels great to know that you get to drink Milo with cornflakes every morning!! Delicious~

I have a strong urge that I will apply for the Specialist Diploma in Accounting and Finance. At least I get more financially literate which I guess, will somehow help me in the future. So I guess that if I really applied for it, it will gonna be a busy year for me. With this to cope, retaking Os lvl and commitment to sports will make me a busy boy. And this time round, I will tell myself to give in my best to whatever I am going to do.

~If you miss happy moments, why not create more happy moments =D

I have decided to retake my O lvl English and Mathematics.

My mum gave me the confidence to take it. She said that even if I take it and didn't achieve what I want in the end, but if I put in my 101% effort into it, it is an accomplishment itself.

Yesterday when to Sentosa with AC. Now back is having some pain pain because I think got slight burnt. It really nice chilling out at the beach. Haha!!

At night went to a dinner at a temple. Eat till full full and went to my sis house to sleep. Woke up at around 11am and drove home and had lunch. Wanted to watch TV but ended up falling asleep. till 4plus. Yep. My Sunday was a sleepy day. Woke up and met up the rest at Tampines Swimming Complex to get some "dipping in the water time". We played pool catching but ended up being catch by them. Than we went to Hougang mall and met up with Dorothy to have KFC fot dinner before they head to Lan shop to play L4D2.

That sums up my fabulous weekend!

Ricky's note of the week: Currently, there are alot of things which I hope that I can achieve but I am afraid that it wont come true. And I know that is not a correct mindset because I can't be afraid to achieve what I want. I need to change my mindset into something positive by giving in my maximum effort in order to achieve what I want. I cant be disheartened even before the game has started because it will mean that I have lost half of it already. Yea. Giving my best to achieve what I want!!

Starts the New Year with a bang!!

I started the New Year with a big BANG!! And i'm serious it is a really BANG! Because I bang my car into someone's car along Ubi Avenue after I drive back home from camp. And it all thanks to a Taxi that was in the bus lane that just cut in front of the someone's car when it saw SBS personnal taking photos of cars that are in the bus lane. And so that someone's car make a sudden brake and I followed too closely and BANGGGGGG. That is how the bang bang came from.

I was stunned in my car at first. Don't know what to expect as this is my first and last time in an accident. Than I get down of my car when I saw the female driver got down too. She also doesn't know what to do and so she called her dad. I also don't know what to do than I saw her calling her dad and so, I realised that I should also call my dad.

While waiting for our dad to come down, a towing truck came very quickly and wanted to bring our cars to his repair shop. The lady was good enough to tell me not to let that guy settle as he will charge a very high fee Because he will bring the car to repair an repair this and repair that even if the parts are not spoilt so as to earn more. Also, he will claim my car insurance which in the future, will cost even more because of the accident. So it is not good for the guy to handle.

After our dad arrive, we settled the issue among ourselves by asking the person to go to my dad's friend workshop for repair.

I can consider to be Lucky already. My car was still drivable and no one was injured.

Yesterday met up with iguides clique and we went window shopping for New Year clothes. After that, went to Teo Heng for KTV!
Later gonna go swimming with AC clique!

I need to scrimp and save already! Need to see how much I can save because I wanna go for the Taiwan trip because of the farmstay!!

1 week of not blogging and i'm back!! Not been busying doing anything lately but there is just nothing to blog about. Guess everything is fine currently. And I guess even more that everything is always fine=D Monday to Friday same routine of work. Friday went to Teo Heng for some KTV session with AC.
Yesterday went back to TP as an Alumni and they are having open house. Feel youth again with all those mass dance and Jam and Hope. Oh ya. Forgot that i'm always youthful.

Ok. I don't know why I have always been self-complimenting myself but it just feels artificially good? WAHAHAHA. I think that I have come to this level where everytime when there is something that is not going my way, I will take a deep breath and told myself that "it is just a small problem. Don't have to think so much." And everything will be gone. At least for that period of time. Maybe that is what "Don't worry Be Happy" means =D

Just finish researching on Taipei and I found that this place is really nice!! http://www.cingjing.gov.tw/
It is a farmstay in Taiwan up in the mountains and I think that the place is great!! Imagine that you get to chase the sheep around, star gaze high up in the mountains with the chill wind blowing... How great!! Hope I can go because I really wish to experience farmstay one day!!

Just watched Alvin and the Chipmunks cum Chipettes! It was like what Faezah say, it is not about the movie, it's about the Chipmunks and Chipettes. Yea. They are really cute till I get so interested. Song that they sing was nice too! 3.8/5.

Marina Barrage chill out and des birthday

Wake up in the morning and went to Faezah house to do some baking. We baked Eclair pastry and fried nuggets for the pot luck to Desmond 21st Birthday at Marina Barrage. Haha. Happy Birthday beearly Desmond! Know you always want to go Yangtze to watch movie now you can le=D Happy Birthday and have a cheering year ahead!!

While Eclair wasnt as smooth as we thought but it was still edible I guess. Lol. Next time gonna try baking something else. Baking is fun.

Met the rest of the AC during evening time. It was a good chill out time and place. Watching the sunset. The amount of kites flying in the sky, the bright round moon and glitzing star, listening to our music, the shining city skyline and not forgetting picnic food and picnic groundsheet!! It was really relaxing till I slept at the groundsheet for dunno how long.

I wanna go Marina Barrage for another chill out time!!

Happy New Year 2010

Happy New Year!!

2009 was now a past tense. Now enjoying the present tense and looking forward towards the future tense!

Well, 2009 is an average year for me, I gained some, I lose some. Hoping 2010 would be a great year for everyone! A new year, a new beginning!!

Here's my year 2010 resolution:

1) Learn more about investment
2) Feed my bank account more food to prepare me for my future backpacking trip to Australia
3) Join and complete a 42km marathon
4) Stay fit, keep fit, being healthy
5) Have a cheerful and smiling year!!

This year new year was spent at Sentosa Siloso Beach Party. Well, I would say I did enjoy it but it was abit boring because I didnt get to dance till shiok shiok because the music wasn't to my liking. But it was a great celebration with all of my friends!
