Treatment at NUHYesterday mum long pang me to NUH with my spidey cousin cause she wanted to accompany my aunt to visit my uncle who is warded in NUH. Get well soon uncle!!So I reach there about 30mins earlier. Wa. 1st time so so on time leh! Or should I say behind time?? So was down there lonely reading a book I and Faezah borrowed from the library called "Easy steps to Public Speaking" while waiting for my turn to be called. OK. The book was just damn boring. But still tried very hard to read cause it will be useful for my school CDS subject which is Public Speaking. Kinda excited in the subject cause everytime you went to the class, you must be prepared to present to the class. I treat this as a challenge cause I really hope to have the confidence to speak in front of a group of people. So before seeing the doctors, I was asked to go to the cast room to de-cast. After de-casting, my hand felt very light for the 1st time after 10days! Than the doctor took up my hand move here move there and he say my hand is not that stable. And when he turn my wrist, I felt pain around it.. Maybe due to the muscle. And I shouldnt tell the doctor about it cause he ask me to go for the X-ray on the wrist. WTH!! Wasted 35dollar on it. Should have just kept my mouth shut. =( After the X-ray, back to the reception counter waiting and waiting. And the doctor ask me in to the room and he was analyzing the X-ray and he saw fragment of bones and I told him that its past injury and he say that the ligament in my elbow may be damage and may need an operation to repair it so that in future, my elbow will not be so easily dislocated. So the doctor wanted to see my mum and discuss with her about it and so I called my mum. And heres the difficulte part. The doctor is an Indian and the Asst. doctor is I think phillipno or Indonesian who only know how to speak western English and the Nurse is a Malay. And my poor mum who is a Chinese who only understand A-Z but when the A-Z is jumble up, she dont understand already. So I was having a hard time translating what the doctor say to her for around 10mins when suddenly the Malay nurse speak Chinese. She should have speak earlier so that I wont be having to translate English to Chinese. Although I know both language, but when the doctor use words like ligament, I dont know whether to translate it to muscle in Chinese or what. Cause im not sure whether its the same meaning or not. So after the "Multi-Racial Exchange Programme"(This prove the NUH is a Singapore hospital), I was asked to do a CT scan 2weeks later to see the ligaments, veins and nerves around my right elbow so as to decide whether to have an operation anot. Personally, I hope to have the operation so that in future, my hand will be stronger. NUH was a good hospital. I mean in terms of waiting time compared to KK hospital. Yea! Im so happy that I dont need to be casted after just 10days!! Maybe is because of Joey prayers! Thanks!! Now go bath no need to use plastic bag to cover and I can finally play DOTA!! After 4mths, my internet connection is finally back!! It will be connected this Sat!! Woo~Cheers~*.*"
