Ubin Bonding

Went to Ubin with ACians and our advisor Terance. Just a single word to describe this trip- WOW! Make me discovered a different Ubin.

We had wild fruits as our tidbits!! This is the 1st time I pluck a fruit from a tree and actually eat it!! Pluck Jumbo fruit and indian Cherry. Is Jumbo fruit spelt like this? Nvm. Can eat can ler. Than we also pluck some vegetable for our dinner like hibiscus, brinjau, lemon grass, some blue flower to make blue rice. The mountain bike trial there got a big grassland of kang kong. Everyone just look like indian tea plantation workers, plucking and plucking and plucking. Plucked alot!! Than while cycling, Terance saw this bambo shoot and *TING. He thought about dinner again. So we plucked it out using quite abit of stength. We also went to the beach beside the jetty to catch mussle for our dinner. They are difficult to catch man. But AC is strong!! So we manage to catch at least 15 mussle. But during dinner, I only ate 1... Cause while searching for the mussle, I saw dog shit inside the water!! So it makes me feel rejected... (is rejected the word?)

Woo~ Have sushi for lunch. Terance cooking skill was superb. we do some field cooking for dinner. Tom Yam soup, Miso Curry Soup, Kang kong, Veg pizza omelette, Deep fry flour etc. All the recipe is from Terance and he teach us how to cook. He inspired me to go learn cooking man!! Hope to cook like the way he cook.

At night, we have some bonding session at the basketball court. Its like a short time for us to focus and gather together to talk and bond. Hope that we have more of this session. It is true that we are a strong team. We walk together no matter wat happen. We didnt left the team when things are not right. 3 cheers for us. "We have left roughly 6months more. What will happen to us after that?" Someone asked me. So wat is our answer for that? =)

Next day, we have a recce for our night cycling event. Was trying my best to familiarize with the route. Heng ar, the rain starts to pour when we just finished. Went back to Singapore to have our lunch. At night, met them again for movie. Was actually going to watch this movie called Fred Claus, but we came late so change to The Kingdom. The movie was about an American school in Saudi Arabia kena shoot and bombed by terrorist and subsequently, a FBI agent was killed. So 4 FBI flew to Saudi to investigate and you know, FBI vs Terrorist bla bla bla. The show is nice but very fake. Always is the bad guy who die one. The good guy look like superman, can always avoid bullet and rockets. Best phrase of the show "Lets go catch big dog". "Why big dog and not fish?". "Cause dog is bigger than fish". @.@" So lame eh.

After the movie, wanted to have supper at the beancurd shop but no more ler. In the end, the east side kaki rush to take the last bus and went to bedok block 85. Have Or Lua and carrot cake as others shop has closed down. =(
