Anxiety weekend

Friday was one of the stupidest day in my life! And it somehow affected my weekend mood as I constantly has those kind of anxiety feeling. Shall talk about the stupid stuff that I did once the dust is settled as I don't want it to heighten my anxiety. Meeting up with friends, with their company, their words of encouragement and their perspective view, it gives me a rush of courage and bravery to face the fear that I had for the next 3days which is D-day. Just now, I realised that the reason for the anxiety feeling is because I hang on to it, thinking that it will destroy my life. But then, I think again and found out that it is just a life of 1year and 5months. Not fogetting to remind myself that "Human just have to take things more lightly and openly to live more happily".
So Friday night, I slept early as I don't want myself to think too much and I also had a mild headache.
Saturday, we had a surprised birthday celebration for YingChee at Marina Barrage. It was a planned event with her another group of friends that is suggested by her CheeHiang who is holding guns in Thailand currently. So we had a mini picnic and had a fun night flying kite which was ended when the string broke by the cut of others' kite. Luckily, we still manage to retrieve our kite as it landed just nice around the vicinity of Marina Barrage.
After that, we went to Cathay and caught a midnight movie- Ironman 2. Well, due to the late night, I went in and out of sleep in the first 15minutes of the show as there are a lot of dialogue. But after that, the show caught my attention because of its' plot. Overall, the movie was not a bad one but only if it could be more exciting. For example, it would be better if the baddie can do more damage or make him more difficult to die. Or there could be more enemy troops which will trigger the American army to be deployed and cause an all out confrontation. I would give it a rating of 3.2 out of 5.
Sunday, woke up at 11am but then went back to sleep. And I manage to complete another book that was borrowed from one of my officer. The book is called Blink and it is about "the ability of our unconscious mind; mental processes that work rapidly and automatically from relatively little information. It shows how a snap judgement can be far more effective than a cautious decision. " It gives some example like how an art expert sees a ten-million-dollar sculpture and instantly spots it's a fake and a fire-fighter suddenly senses he has to get out of a blazing building to prevent disaster. Quite an interesting book but some part of it is a bit draggy though.
After that, met up with the rest and we went to YingChee house for her birthday celebration! Had lots of food and I bought my Monopoly Deal Cards along. Finally got the chance to play and know the rule of it. It was a very nice card game for chilling and if time permits, I don't mind playing it all night! I am always and will always be a Monopoly fanatics!

I had a great weekend and hope everyone does! Once again, Happy Birthday YingChee!!
Cheers~
